Think "1970s D&D Basic Set", like that old D&D module Keep on the Borderlands, y'know? Or, maybe one step better, Tomb of Horrors. ![]() SJ Games may be formalizing a distinction which isn't made explicit by other publishers. Mind you, rather more are willing to write "sandboxes," locations or other setting material which can be explored or serve as the basis of adventures but don't anticipate a particular sequence of events. One is that most of the usual suspects are disinclined to write what SJ Games is calling an adventure, which incorporates something like a plot. This pretty much encompasses the reasons why there are so few GURPS adventures. ![]()
